Our Reversepowerplants convert regional forest residues into electricity, heat, Green Gas and green carbon. They not only generate renewable energy, but also green carbon and therefore minus CO2_-our Reversepowerplants make an important contribution to a climate-positive future.

Sustainable products

What do our Reversepowerplants produce?

Electricity

Our systems generate renewable energy - efficiently and cleanly. We generate 0.3 kW of green electricity from 1 kW of fuel.

Heat

We develop individual heat utilization concepts according to customer requirements. We generate up to 0.62 kW of green heat from 1 kW of fuel.

Green Gas

Our Reversepowerplants reliably and flexibly supply Green Gas for direct applications in industry and commerce.

Green Carbon

In addition to electricity and heat, our plants produce green carbon as a further product. This allows us to permanently remove_CO2 from the atmosphere.

Minus-CO2

If Green Carbon is fed into a permanent sink, CO2-certificates can be generated and emissions offset.

CW1800-500 GÄNSERNDORF / AT

At the end of October 2024, a new Reversepowerplant was officially inaugurated in Gänserndorf, Lower Austria. After nine months of construction, the SYNCRAFT type 500 plant is now shining in all its glory. Here, regional forest residues are used to generate renewable energy in the form of electricity, heat and green carbon. The plant feeds 500 kW of electricity into the public grid and supplies 750 kW of heat for the district heating network.

CW1800x2-1000 WAHLSTEDT / DE

HanseWerk Natur, known in northern Germany as a regional heating supplier and energy service provider, inaugurated a new Reversepowerplant in Wahlstedt, Schleswig Holstein, at the end of May 2024. With this pioneering project, the company is increasing the proportion of regional renewable energy in the district heating network and taking another step towards decarbonizing its electricity and heat generation.

CW1800x2-1000 HEILBRONN / DE

Südwestdeutsche Salzwerke AG is one of the most important salt producers in Europe with sites in Heilbronn, Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall. In December 2023, the company celebrated the commissioning of its new SYNCRAFT reverse power plant at its headquarters in Heilbronn.

2xCW1800-500 PERG / AT

Together with NAWARO ENERGIE, we developed the largest Reversepowerplant in Austria to date, which went into operation for the first time in 2023. It has a total output of 1,000 kW of electrical energy and 1,540 kW of thermal energy. The thermal energy is used for the base load supply of the local heating network, while the electrical energy is fed into the local power grid to supply around 2,000 households.

4xCW1800x2-1000 FRAUENFELD / CH

In Frauenfeld, Switzerland, we built one of the largest wood-fired power plants of its kind in 2021. The climate-positive 4xCW1800x2-1000 Reversepowerplant is one of the world's most innovative plants in the field of wood energy generation and carbon removal. Every year, we permanently remove 12,000 tons CO₂ from the atmosphere. In order to realize this mammoth project, the Zurich-based energy and mobility service provider "Energie 360° AG" and "Schweizer Zucker AG" jointly founded "Bioenergie Frauenfeld AG".
