Austria's largest Reversepowerplant is located in Perg
Together with NAWARO ENERGIE, we developed the largest Reversepowerplant in Austria to date, which went into operation for the first time in 2023. It has a total output of 1,000 kW of electrical energy and 1,540 kW of thermal energy. The thermal energy is used for the base load supply of the local heating network, while the electrical energy is fed into the local power grid to supply around 2,000 households.

Managing Director NAWARO ENERGIETo increase overall efficiency, a PV system was installed on the roof area, which supplies around 110 MWh of electricity per year and covers part of the power plant's own electricity requirements. The forest residues that NAWARO ENERGIE uses for the system consist of G50 wood chips and come from a radius of around 60 km from the Mühlviertel and Waldviertel regions.
