New Reversepowerplant being built in the Engadin at over 1,600 m above sea level
Assembly work for CW1800-500 system in full swing - commissioning planned for summer 2025
Reverse is forward. - Even at high Alpine altitudes: another SYNCRAFT Reversepowerplant is currently under construction in the picturesque Engadin, which will convert sustainable forest residues into renewable energy and green carbon at an altitude of over 1,600 meters above sea level.
Innovative technology control for maximum efficiency
At the heart of the new system is a CW1800-500 unit, which is supplemented by a comprehensive technology control system from SYNCRAFT Automation. This intelligent control solution not only coordinates the Reversepowerplant itself, but also optimally networks it with existing systems at the site - including boilers and ORC systems.
The overarching technology control takes on central functions:
- Data exchange between all systems
- Control of the thermal circuit
- Coordination of room ventilation
- Optimization of the overall system for maximum efficiency
Assembly in full swing
Assembly work is currently in full swing. The specialist teams are working on:
- Pipework for optimum heat distribution
- Electrical installation for a safe energy supply
- Commissioning of the technical control system by SYNCRAFT Automation
