SYNCRAFT opens new company headquarters
September 21, 2024
On Friday, September 20, we celebrated the official opening of our new location on Alte Landstraße in Schwaz. With this celebration, SYNCRAFT set another important milestone in its 15-year success story.
A state-of-the-art company building has been constructed on the 4,800 m² site, which includes offices and a spacious production hall. SYNCRAFT unites all central company divisions under one roof here: Power Plant Construction, Research & Development, Administration, Aftersales, Automation and Gas Engine Service. The building, largely constructed using sustainable solid timber construction and supplemented by innovative climate-controlled concrete elements, sets new standards in energy efficiency and does not use any fossil heating technologies.
Our new site offers space for over 100 employees and creates room for future developments and innovations in the field of wood energy production.
Over 150 invited guests, including representatives from politics and business, took part in the inauguration ceremony. One of the highlights of the event was the inspiring presentation by the well-known "climate hunter" Andreas Jäger, who shed light on the current climate situation and focused on negative emission technologies such as BCR, Biochar Carbon Removal. In addition to the speeches by the guests of honor, there were also guided tours of the new company building and the band "Cash Money Brothers" provided musical entertainment.
Our SYNCRAFT Operations Manager Benedikt Bodner speaks of "a significant and unforgettable day in the history of our company." With the opening of the new site, we want to once again underline our pioneering role in the field of sustainable energy solutions. "Our mission is to generate green and affordable energy and thus make our contribution to a climate-positive future," adds Benedikt Bodner.
Our new location was co-financed by the European Union.
