The Reversepowerplant in Upper Austria has an electrical output of 500 kW and a thermal output of 740 kW. With a fuel heat output of 1808 kW, the plant generates 3.75 million kW of electricity and 5.5 million kW of heat per year. The 500 kW gas engine was supplied by the engine manufacturer Innio Jenbacher. In addition to heat and electricity, green coal is also produced, which actively binds CO₂ when used in a carbon-preserving manner, thus making an important contribution to a sustainable future.
