Bioenergie Ahlintel GmbH & Co. KG from Emsdetten operates our first Reversepowerplant in Germany. The plant is operated exclusively with forest residues and landscaping material from the surrounding area and supplies a local heating network with sustainable heat, among other things. In its first year of operation, the Reversepowerplant achieved well over 8000 operating hours, i.e. it reliably produced electricity, heat and green coal over 90% of the time.

The annual yield of green coal is around 500 tons. Due to the predominant use of hardwoods from landscape conservation, the bulk density and carbon content of the coal from Emsdetten is particularly high. It even exceeds the calorific value of hard coal.
