A Reversepowerplant is located in South Tyrol

Construction of the CW1800x2-1000 backwards power plant in Lasa began in April 2018. The plant was completed and ready for operation just five months later. Since then, the power plant has been successfully serving the district heating network of the Laaser-Eyrser Energie Genossenschaft (LEEG). The special task was to replace an existing gasification system and integrate the new system into the existing biomass cogeneration plant and the existing heating network. As the building in which the power plant was to be located had already been built, the small installation area posed a challenge that had to be overcome.
