Reversepowerplant meets agriculture

In Mayen, Ralph Grauel implements a sophisticated energy solution on the site of his father's abandoned farm. With his experience in the field of energy technology, Ralph Grauel has the necessary expertise for the use of SYNCRAFT technology. The biomass is purchased and dried directly on site before being converted into renewable energy and green carbon in the SYNCRAFT CW 1800-500 Reversepowerplant in a way that conserves resources. The plant, which has been in operation since 2024, generates 500 kW of electrical power and 740 kW of thermal power with a fuel requirement of 362 kg/h on an area of 215 m². The products and their application: Ralph Grauel currently uses the heat generated to heat his parents' home and his own house. He would like to use the remaining heat to dry woodchippings. This climate-positive technology CO₂ avoided 3,500 tons of CO₂ avoided per year and actively removes an additional 1,500 tons of CO₂ from the atmosphere. A special feature of this plant is its customized design: As a "slimmed-down" version of our standard backwards power plant, the customer purchased a great many components themselves - including drying, moving floor, biomass feed screws, cooler and room ventilation. This smart solution shows how technical expertise and SYNCRAFT technology can be optimally combined to create cost-efficient energy solutions.
